Dex One leaders, David Sharman -SVP and Chief Strategy Officer and Todd Leeloy – VP Digital Product Strategy and Management, were invited to be part of this elite group of speakers in New York City on March 21 – 22.
David provided his insights during a panel discussion about: “Advantage: Local Media.” There’s been a lot of talk about pure play Internet companies swooping down and stealing local ad share. However, traditional media companies still control 92 percent of all local ad spending, including half of all Internet advertising. David discussed the advantage held by Dex One’s local sales force and centralized call centers that provide expertise on digital media products. Other panelists included the CEO and president of CBS Radio and president of Valpak Services.
Todd was part of “The Yahoo! Consortium.” Dex One, and other media companies, partner with Yahoo! to create marketing solutions for local and regional businesses. Todd discussed how Dex One provides partnership-based advantages to SMBs with the company’s Dex One Network.
