Applicability

This Job Applicant Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how Thryv, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “Company” or “we”) treat personal information that we collect and process in connection with your application for employment with us. It does not apply to our practices on sites or apps where it does not appear. This Policy does not apply to the information we collect from individuals who are employees or contractors. This Policy is not a contract, and does not create any legal rights or obligations.

Contact Information. We collect name and postal addresses. We also collect email address and phone number.

Other Identifiers. This includes your IP address, previous residential addresses, application account information, Social Security Number or other national identification number, drivers’ license number, and government ID.

Employment and Education Information. This includes information such as education, compensation and work history. It may also include certificates, licenses, skills, and professional and trade union memberships. This also includes your work experience, including current employer and title.

Demographic and Related Information. This includes marital status, date of birth, gender, and race/ethnic information, nationality, veteran status, and sexual orientation.

Application Information. This includes your resume and references. It may also include community and volunteer involvement and work eligibility. It may include language skills.

Sensory data: This includes audio, electronic, visual or similar information.

Site Usage information. When you use this site, we may collect information about the browser you are using. We may collect information about your clicks and site navigation.

We keep these categories of personal information as long as necessary or relevant for the purposes for which it was collected. We also keep information as required by law. Employee information listed here may be considered “sensitive” personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information, as defined by California law, for inferring characteristics or for purposes other than those permitted by law.

Purposes for Collecting Information

We collect information to manage your application. This includes setting up and conducting interviews and tests in order to assess your skills. It also includes verifying the application information you provided to us is accurate. Should you receive and accept an offer with us, this also includes efforts to onboard you as an employee. We may also collect certain information for legal obligations.

We collect information to make a hiring decision. The information we collect during the recruitment process is required to assess your application for employment and make a hiring decision. You do not have to provide us with this information. If you do not provide certain information, it may mean that we are unable to continue with your application for employment.

Methods of Collecting Information

We collect information directly from you. You may provide us the information described above during the recruitment process. This may be in your application, on the telephone, or during interviews.

We collect information passively. We collect information about users over time and across different websites. We also work with third parties that collect personal information this way. We may use several common tracking tools to collect information. We may work with others to gather information on our platforms and elsewhere. We may do this on our websites and in emails that we send to you.

We Store information in the United States

Information we collect will be stored inside the United States. By submitting your information you agree to the processing of it in the United States as permitted by law. If you live outside of the United States, you understand and agree that we may transfer your information to the United States.

We do not do “sell” or “share” information collected from job applicants based on our understanding of those terms.
