John Wholey
Chief Operations & Customer Success Officer
As Thryv’s Chief Operations & Customer Success Officer, John leads all global operations and customer success functions supporting the pre-sale, ordering, onboarding, fulfillment, billing, support, and success of Thryv’s clients. John’s extensive experience delivers best in class customer centric fulfillment, servicing, and support to Thryv’s SMBs.
John also serves as the General Manager of Thryv’s agency business unit providing creative SaaS solutions and marketing services for our largest customers. Prior to his current role, John served as Chief Operations & Information Officer where he led the integration of numerous acquisitions including YP.com, Sensis, Yello, and Vivial.
Prior to joining Thryv, John led US/UK Operations for hibu and held executive leadership roles. John was instrumental in supporting the growth of Yell and led the integration of Yellowbook’s 77 acquisitions. John has extensive experience in the search industry, including work with Bell Atlantic and White Directory Publishers.
John currently sits on the Board of Directors of Localogy. John holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Massachusetts and an MBA in Finance from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
