Christmas in July: Give Your Holiday Marketing a Boost Before the Rush

If you’ve owned a business for more than a year, you know how quickly the holidays sneak up.

One minute you’re enjoying the slower pace of summer. The next you’re trying to update your website, plan promotions, post on social media, respond to customers, and figure out how to get more people through the door before the year ends.

The businesses that have the strongest holiday seasons usually aren’t starting their marketing in November. They’re laying the groundwork months in advance.

That’s why we’re celebrating Christmas in July.

Not because it’s time to decorate, but because it’s the perfect reminder to get ahead while you still have time.

Whether you’re brand new to Thryv or you’ve been using it for a while, now is a great opportunity to make sure your marketing is ready before business starts picking up.

Let’s be honest.

You didn’t start your business because you wanted to spend your evenings updating your website, figuring out SEO, writing social media posts, or chasing down online reviews.

But today’s customers expect all of those things.

Before they call you, they search online. They check your reviews. They visit your website. They compare you to other businesses.

Keeping up with all of it can feel overwhelming.

That’s where Thryv comes in.

Think of it as your marketing home base. Instead of bouncing between different platforms, you can manage many of the tasks that help customers find and choose your business from one place.

With Thryv, you can:

• Keep your business information up to date
• Manage online reviews
• Publish social media content
• Update your website
• Connect with customers
• Track how your marketing is performing

Everything works together, making it easier to stay organized and spend more time focusing on your customers.

Thryv gives you the tools to manage your marketing.

Thryv Boosts help you grow your business.

Think of Boosts as adding another member to your team, one that’s focused on helping your business grow.

Ads Boost: Be There When Customers Are Ready to Buy

Think about how your customers shop during the holidays.

They pull out their phone, search for an item, compare a few options, and make a decision.

The question is, will they find your business?

When customers search online, they’re often choosing between several businesses, not just one. Ads Boost helps put your business front and center, so you’re more likely to be seen before your competitors, giving you a better chance to earn the click, the call, and ultimately the customer.

Instead of trying to manage advertising across multiple platforms yourself, Thryv’s team handles the strategy, optimization, and performance tracking so your ads keep working for you.

Spotlight: Thryv Leads

Getting people to click is only half the battle.

Thryv Leads helps connect your business with customers who are actively searching for businesses like yours, making it easier to capture opportunities and follow up before they move on to a competitor.

Social Boost: Reach New Customers Where They Spend Their Time

Your next customer probably isn’t scrolling through your business page. They’re scrolling through their social media feed.

The challenge is getting your business in front of the right people at the right time.

Social Boost helps expand your reach with professionally managed social advertising, putting your business in front of targeted audiences on platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Whether you’re promoting a seasonal offer, holiday event, or simply looking to build awareness, Social Boost helps your business stay visible when customers are ready to discover someone new.
